As urban housing takes hold as a viable, sustainable building technique, one of the lessons we are learning is that BIGGER does not necessarily equal better. In fact, when it comes to simplifying your life and trying to tread lightly on the planet, we would argue that smaller is most certainly better. Our favorite homes are those with the least amount of square footage. In an era of shoddily built McMansions and suburban tract homes, it is nice to see a growing trend toward living small and efficiently in a well built compact home.
Our vision for Eco 2 is to be modern in design with huge windows looking out to your own private yard, complete with a maintenance free deck. Clerestory windows, sleeping loft and modern fixtures will compliment the interior space. On the exterior Eco 2 will have a sweeping roofline, durable modern siding, off street parking and plenty of plant material!
