We have been trying to get our hands on this building for FIVE years!!! Finally, we are in the planning stages of taking this once commercial laundry facility turned derelict and graffitti ridden shell and turning it into a spectacular adaptive use multi-purpose building.
A 60 year old structure built of steel trusses and solid brick complete with stained brick on the interior walls sounds wonderful to our adaptive reuse ears. We will have ten residences, a community FREE art gallery so locals can sign up and show their art for FREE--including hosted openings and a soon to be announced really cool restaurant.
That adds up to twelve, or a dozen places in one building and we have Dozen @ the DeLuxe.
